Is the Deep tissue laser covered by insurance?

No. Unfortunately, insurance companies will not cover this specific Class IV laser. This is a cash service and the price is based upon the time spent on the patient. Prices vary as either $35 or $45 per session.

HOw long does an appointment take?

The first appointment will always include an exam so that Dr. Kelsey can determine your specific injury, so allow about an hour for this visit. This will also include an adjustment and therapy, if needed. Each subsequent visit is 15 minutes, possibly more if rehabilitation is included in your treatments.

COre Complex Appointment time frame and program length?

The first appointment for the Core Complex Rehabilitation Program is about an hour. This is due to the fact that Dr. Kelsey will be spending a large amount of time on the education of this program and the function of the core itself. Each following visit will be planned for 45 min. Program length is about 7-8 visits, but of course it is dependent upon every individual and their current health issues and goals so please keep this in mind. These appointments are scheduled weekly at first and then Dr. Kelsey will extend them to every other week, every three weeks, etc. until the patient has met their own goals and completed the program.

The VIRTUAL Core Complex Program is designed for women who lack work and life flexibility but still have these issues! They can purchase this program underneath the “Core Complex” tab at the top of the screen and follow the prompts. From this program, they can move forward at their own pace and timeline. There are 5 weeks of exercises in addition to the educational videos. They have access to all of the education that an in-person appointment will give in addition to the tools and exercise timeline for them to get relief! (The videos range from 2 min-12min.)

What’s the difference between an infrared sauna and a steam sauna?

An infrared sauna uses infrared heat and wavelengths to increase the core body temperature of a person, internally. Essentially, an infrared sauna gives a person “a false fever.” Cellular turn over occurs as a result of the heat and the benefits of this are numerous! Immune health is enhanced, stress detoxification via sweating, recovery is enhanced for the musculoskeletal system too! This is a dry heat and that has no humidity involved. Many cannot tolerate humidity and an infrared sauna is a great tool for them! Also, when you step out of an infrared sauna and towel off, the sweating stops. This is because the heat was centered to be internal, rather than external.

A steam sauna uses water and creates high humidity. Also great for immune health and detoxification! Mostly found at gyms or rec. centers with pools.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
